How To Fix Lagging Tablet? (wacom Bamboo)? Hello all! I have a Wacom Bamboo Create and I have had it for a few months. I am really liking it, but I am still getting used to it. But recently, it has been lagging behind my actions on the screen. Every application is like this and it does this even if I close everything and just move it around like a mouse. I do not know what is causing this. I have disabled the press and hold AND the flicks. I also have tried restarting my computer. I have a Dell, Inspiron N5050 running windows 7. I am thinking I may need to uninstall the driver and re-install it to see if that fixes it; as it also says the driver is not working and is not found on the computer (even though it shows up in searches of my hard drive). Any help at all would be amazing as I want to practice more on the digital side of things to get used to it.

As you later mention “the driver is not working and is not found” , that would be imperative to repair , the reason why it was lost or dis-associated with tablet, is unknown, if you added other devices or change hardware after adding tablet, then those tools may have replaced or over-written drivers access,

So , yes you do want to re-install drivers, if you changed OS system or updated, then you may also have to update drivers from web for newer compatibility, or reinstall drivers that came with Tablet on cd,

other lag reasons would be video memory, hardware motherboard memory, and cpu usage with conflicting other programs hogging resources, if so, close other programs like music or web browser while using painter and tablet,
