How to Effectively Target Your Marketing
Advertising has traditionally entailed the creation and dissemination of promotional content that, one hopes, will attract the interest of new customers while also building a professional and wide brand image and awareness. Hopelessly inefficient, this form of advertising has been largely replaced by the rise of targeted advertising – helped along by big data sets […]
Why SEO is Important for startups?

What To Do In Seattle ? Me and my girlfriend are planning to go to Seattle, WA this Summer. I don’t know if there’s something interesting to see. I know that Seattle is a modern city and hosts many International headquarters so I guess there’s some museums, modern spots or parks, but I heard that it isn’t a city with a lot of identity like for example San Francisco is and it’s very rainy. I know that Portland or Vancouver aren’t too far from Seattle and that there are some National Parks in Washington to visit. Please, I’d like to know what to do/to see in Seattle. I forgot to say that I’m a French-Canadian and my girlfriend is British, but Seattle looks multi-ethnic and open-minded…
There are lots of interesting things to see in and around Seattle. Seattle is very open-minded and has people from all over the world living in and visiting the city. I would disagree that it doesn’t have a lot of identity – there are many things about it that are unique and many people consider its setting with views of mountains and water all around as one of the most beautiful cities in the US.
Here is a list of things that most people like to see and do:
Pike Place Market: http://www.squidoo.com/Seattle-Pike-Place-Market
The Seattle Center: http://www.squidoo.com/seattle-center – where the Space Needle: http://www.squidoo.com/seattle-space-needle is located
The waterfront area has many things to see and do: http://www.squidoo.com/seattle-waterfront-trolley
Pioneer Square – the oldest part of the city where many people enjoy taking the Seattle Underground tour: http://www.squidoo.com/seattle-underground-tour
Here is an article with lots more information about parks, museums and other attractions: http://www.squidoo.com/visit-seattle-washington
There are 3 National Parks within about 3 hours of Seattle: Olympic National Park, Mt Rainier National Park and North Cascades National Park. There is also the Mt St Helens Volcano National monument which is also very interesting. Another side trip not to be missed is San Juan island: http://www.squidoo.com/San_Juan_Island
Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA are about 3 hours south so if those are places you want to include in your trip, keep that in mind. Vancouver, BC is about 1.5 hours north depending on the length of the lines at the border crossing: http://www.squidoo.com/peace-arch
You really need not be concerned about a lot of the rain in the summer if you visit between mid-July and September. It rains for most of the rest of the year, but the summers are usually pretty nice with very comfortable temperatures.
What Activies And Sight Seeing Do You Recommend For Hawaii? Specifically At Oahu, Maui And Big Island? We are planning a vacation for Christmas, being in Hawaiii for 8 days total.
Please list the activities and sight seeing for each island seperately.
**Also, what’s the best way to commute to each island?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
Unless you decide to take a cruise as a way of seeing the islands: http://www.kqzyfj.com/click-3894326-10482600 the only practical way to commute between islands is to fly. Hawaiian airlines has a lot of inter-island flights: http://www.tkqlhce.com/click-3894326-10955544 Or you can fly into a Hawaii to an airport on one island and depart for the mainland from another to minimize the time and expense of flying back and forth.
Seeing three islands is perhaps a little ambitious for an 8 day trip. If you can, I would recommend adding at least 2 more days to have at least 2 or 3 days for each island. Here are what I would consider the highlights:
Oahu: Pearl Harbor including the Arizona, Bowfin Submarine, Submarine Museum and the Missouri. Take a day to drive around the island to the north shore and see some of the famous surfing beaches – the waves are usually pretty impressive in December. The Polynesian Cultural Center: http://shrsl.com/?~4nfu
The Big Island: The Kona side is sunnier and drier so I would stay there, but go to the opposite side of the island to explore the volcano.
Maui: Go see the Maui Ocean Center, go on a whale watching cruise and drive the road to Hana. Here is an article with more ideas: http://www.squidoo.com/maui-in-winter
