Quick Practices For Windows Developers To Learn MVC? I’m a Win Forms , and WPF MVVM developer about 3 years.
I know HTML , and CSS.
And I just wanna learn web MVC5 and Web API , And I have not enough time to start reading books like beginners … and I sometimes review the codes and get the concept faster.
But I now nothing about Security , Filters , Areas , and what happens to resources in Bundles ..
I Don’t know unexpected web specific situations and decisions that I may cross …
Is there any quick but complete starts for me?
Thank you.
I Need Career Advice. Where Should I Start? I graduated with a degree in Communications 2 years ago. Since then I developed and maintained a part-time business in online sales. I am articulate, well spoken, and professional. I have been studying a multitude of areas to diversify my skills and stay competitive until I find something steady. I haven’t really had the opportunity to put myself out there and apply the skills I’ve been learning (other than what I have been doing with my business). I’m worried that I’m starting to forget some of the skills I learned in college. I have been consistently looking for entry level (even though I’m not technically entry level) jobs in areas like: Public relations, human resources, Internet marketing, SEO, Web content writing, ect. The entry level jobs require at least 3 years of experience and the ability to use some software programs that are not taught in college.
I’m feeling a little frustrated, but not trying to let it lose my focus. How do I possibly get my foot in the door of one of these companies when there are no jobs available? I don’t know anyone in my field, so it’s more difficult than I imagined. I am trying to connect with people online, but it is a work in progress.
I would appreciate your advice.
