Questions About Gaming Computer Specs.? I have a couple questions about gaming computers.
First of all, I customized a CyberPower PC and i’m curious about the specs before I actually buy it, to make sure i’m going to get my money’s worth. My other question is that, is it cheaper, and better to just build my own PC? I have no experience what so ever in building a PC, so that’s why I didn’t even bother with that option, but is it really that hard? If so, is there any guides, or videos that demonstrate building one. Once again, i’m going to use this PC for gaming purposes. Also, if anyone thinks that the specs are not “good” enough for gaming, feel free to recommend anything that will enhance it. Thank you so much.
Here are the Specs of the computer that I customized ~

    – CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.00 GHz Eight-Core AM3+ CPU 8MB L2 Cache & Turbo Core Technology
    – HDD: 1TB SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 32MB Cache 7200RPM HDD (Single Drive)
    – MEMORY: 16GB (4GBx4) DDR3/1600MHz Dual Channel Memory (Corsair or Major Brand)
    – MOTHERBOARD: * [CrossFireX] ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AMD 970 Chipset CrossFireX Support DDR3 Socket AM3+ ATX w/ 7.1 Audio, GbLAN, 2 Gen2 PCIe X16, 2 PCIe X1 & 2 PCI (Pro OC Certified)
    – SOUND: HIGH DEFINITION ON-BOARD 7.1 AUDIO
    – VIDEO: AMD Radeon HD 7770 1GB 16X PCIe 3.0 Video Card [+0] (Major Brand Powered by AMD)

Definitely build your own. It is not very difficult at all, and there are many tutorials out there. If you’re a more visual learner, search NeweggTV’s youtube channel to find their tutorial. The go through step by step what to do (I believe it’s a 3 part video).

Also, I know a lot of people will be mad, but I would go Intel for processor. I used to buy AMD but Intel has just surpassed what AMD is capable of. It is slightly more expensive, but offers more performance and energy efficiency.

As far as the other hardware, I’d definitely get an SSD. It makes a big difference in everyday use and game loading times. Everything happens instantly.

If you’re on a budget (assuming so due to AMD and the lower-mid video card) drop down to 8gb of ram and spend it somewhere else. For gaming performance I’d go video card first (I have a similar grade card which is my bottleneck now), processor second (up to an Intel i5 or greater), ssd third. Ram is always easy to add later, and you don’t have to waste parts like you would if you upgraded your graphics card down the road. That and you have to push your pc to surpass 8gb. Running BF3 on mine with many other things open and streaming video on a dual monitor setup I haven’t reach 6.5gb used. (i5 3570k, asrock z77 pro3, 8gb DDR3 1600, 128gb ssd, 600w psu, Nvidia 550ti)

  2. Issues With Netflix On PS3? I am having issues with streaming on Netflix. I am not sure whether it is Netflix, my PlayStation, or my Internet Connection.

When streaming Netflix, I am noticing that while watching TV Shows the picture will periodically freeze, but the Audio will continue to play. It will do it for about a total of 20-30 Seconds, and then stop for a good 10-20 Minutes before doing it again.

I am guessing it is not my Internet Connection, as I don’t have this problem on my Xbox 360, or my Apple TV. I have tried disconnecting, and reconnecting my Wireless Internet Connection to my PlayStation, and it didn’t help.

So that leaves me with, is it my PlayStation, if so, what would be the issue with it? Or, maybe it’s just the Netflix version for the PlayStation? I received the update May 13, 2013; and just started experiencing this last week.

Has anyone else ran into this issue? What may be the problem? Any insight on how to fix this?

    Thank you in advanced!

Does The Roxio Game Capture HD PRO Capture PC Gameplay? Can the Roxio Game Capture HD PRO capture videos of League of Legends or Steam based games? Also does it pick up audio from a gaming headset that is plugged into the PC? I’m looking into starting a Twitch TV/YouTube series with some friends and I want to make sure that it can capture/stream video footage from a Xbox 360, PS3, or a PC though PC is the main priority. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

Can I Stream Bluetooth Audio In My New GMC Terrain? The manual says I can but doesn’t show how to. I already have it connected and the phone functions are working fine (like calling people hands free) and what not. But when listening to music, I do not see an option for bluetooth.
