Religion Vs A Better World? Ok so i know religious people wont be able to understand this, but the way i see it religion is hindering scientific progression, not by stopping discovery but i believe that some technologies will be kept from the public for the main reason that they would pose a great danger our society in the hands of governments that have laws based on religion. I will give some examples of what could be real technologies and i believe these technologies do exist. For example fundamentalist Christians think that is a sin. Imagine giving people a technology that could interface our brains with computers , we could all be telepathic, blind could see again, we could share memories, walk around with the internet in our head able to surf the web and do all the things we do with a pc in our head, we could enhance our abilities, our math skills for example. We could enter into virtual realities and make the world a better place in so many ways. However imagine this technology in the hands of a nation where religion is the cause of laws like in islam. Imagine if the technology was used to watch our thoughts, record them, persecute people just for lust, watch our behavior and have servers censoring our thoughts, our sexual behavior, record everything we see. Imagine how terrible a world could be created with this technology in then hands of religion. Imagine a technology that could give us ‘ point energy’ a way to use time warps so to speak as a source of energy. This energy source could be harnessed to produce force fields and gravity modification but at the same time to produce powerful energy weapons. To instantly suck energy out of an area of the world a bit like blast freezing . This is a technology i believe exist and while this technology could allow us to travel the stars, to teliport payloads, to materialize matter and dematerialize matter, have all the resources we ever could want. Imagine this technology in the hands of religious extremist. Most wars are caused by religion and imagine war with this technology. There would be like nothing left after.
The neural interface could also result in mind control if it can be done wirelessly using the second technology i mentioned on a low power level.

your brain is a computer scrubbag, and you are a machine. You are a very sohpisticated machine. A neural interface doesn’t mean merging with computers, it just allows computers to become better tools. Technology is all about making our lifes easier. I give you an exaemple of when someone wants a bionic organ. Imagine your blind. The neural interface can give you an artificial eye and perfect vision, or your in a wheelchair with no legs and the neural interface can allow you to have legs that are practically as good as what you had before fully functional you control them with thought. Someone with a broken back and technologies like this could give them full control of their lower body again. Imagine being able to show someone a memory. All these amazing things are not going to be available to people till there is less religion i believe.
