Making Money With Internet Marketing? So I’ve been doing some research on making money on the Internet, and of the most popular ways are starting an online business, and Internet marketing. I somewhat understand Internet marketing and will continue to do research but I wanted to see if anyone has had successful experiences with Internet marketing. Is it a legitament way to make money?

I Need To Buy A New Laptop, And I’m A Tad Clueless. Can Anyone Offer Advice? I am in the market for a new laptop. I will say first and foremost: I am not a tech person, and I have a hard enough time knowing basic computer lingo. (I can never remember what RAM is, never mind what it does). That’s not to say I don’t do a lot with my computer; I edit photo’s, play games, create and post video’s, etc. I just don’t know the technical aspect of it. My usual ‘tech friend’ who helps me with this stuff just had a baby, and I don’t want to burden her with my problems as I’m sure she has her hands full right now. So I’m trying to find help here on the internet.
That said, I am going to post what I know, and hope someone can fill in what I don’t lol. My laptop is my lifeline, as I do a bit of traveling – hence no desktops. My eyesight is poor, so I can’t handle small screens very well, so I’m ruling out smartphone, tablets, etc. My current laptop has a 17 inch screen, and I like that size if possible. My brother’s 14 inch screen looks too tiny too me lol.
I’m a writer so all of my writing is held on here, not to mention needing access to emails for work, family, etc. That’s the ‘primary’ reason I need it, but I would think nearly any laptop could handle that. My other big use for the laptop is gaming, which from what I can tell is not as easy to handle. One piece of advice I remember my friend telling me is to make sure a new computer could play games I have and would want to play. That in mind, as an example, the ‘requirements’ of one such game I play, Guild wars 2:

I’m not even sure how to READ this, never mind make sense of it. Or this from one of my other games:

Again, I don’t know what half this means. And when it says “better” I don’t know what ‘better’ would be, so trying to make sure I can run these games confuses me.
The other thing my wife uses this for is to make and post videos of her singing (she’s a singer) though I think that is a program, so I’m not sure if that would even have requirements, or if any type of computer would be better suited to that.
Lastly, budget. My budget (I think) is fairly good in that I can afford to spend 2,000+ on a new laptop. My problem with this is….well, do I need to spend that much for what I need? I mean, do I need one of these top of the line models to run what I want? I have no idea. If a 800$ machine could do everything I need, I’d rather get the cheaper model and take my wife on a vacation or something, you know? On the other hand, I am afraid of getting the bare minimum and having the computer be slow and outdated in two months. I’m trying to find the right balance and not sure how to do it.
Oh, almost forgot! Does brand matter? My tech friend usually tells me to stay away from Dell and….acer? asus? Not sure. I have a Toshiba on her suggestion now, and I think she also recommended….Lenovo? I think that’s right. I’m totally clueless on this part, so any feedback would be nice.
