Google and the Bandit
If you are using Google Adsense to monetize a website, take heed. According to the latest Adsense Terms of Service (you know, that page we always skim over, say “Yeah, right”, jump to the bottom and click the Accept checkbox), all pagess displaying Adsense ads must have a Privacy Policy link on the page. So far I’ve hear various reports of sites getting put on hold or even canceled for violating this.

Adsense Inside Blogger Posts
I was intrigued when I found out about how you can add Adsense units inside post bodies using the widget editor. So, I tried it.
Understanding the 3 link unit limit as well as the 3 ad unit limit, I set up a test blog with the following:
3 link units, 1 link bar at the bottom and 2 link buttons in the sidebar
2 ad units in the sidebar section
1 ad banner set up in the post to show up after every 5 posts (didn’t want to take a chance at going over the 3 ad unit limit).… Continue reading
