Microsoft launches lightweight IIS Express 7.5 web server

Microsoft started shipping this week IIS (World wide web Data Solutions) Express 7.5, a free version of its IIS web server optimised for developers. The firm also unveiled an embedded database upgrade and an open source content management tool.

IIS Express 7.five enhances developers’ potential to develop and test internet applications on Windows by combining IIS 7.5 strengths and lightweight web server capabilities, Microsoft mentioned.

SKorean police say Google violated laws (AP)

SEOUL, South Korea – Police stated Thursday that Google Inc. violated South Korean laws and referred the situation to state prosecutors, adding to a slew of privacy cases the world’s biggest search engine is facing.

Google has been accused of collecting e-mails and other personal info from unsecured wireless networks while it took photographs of neighborhoods in South Korea for its “Street View” mapping service between October 2009 and May 2010.
