When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

For many, that term conjures thoughts of websites or spamming or search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing. For others, it’s all about graphical design, writing fancy code or even affiliate programs. All of those answers correct, but the essence of internet marketing is much simpler.

At its core, internet marketing is about these things:

* Understanding the target market to which the product/service/cause you’re marketing will appeal
* Determining exactly how your target market interacts with the internet
* Positioning your content on the internet to attract the attention of your target market
* Collecting information about your target market (also known as “leads”) for follow-up and conversion into sales
* Design of offers or incentives to induce the desired actions from your leads

Since there is insufficient space in this article to give all of these topics adequate attention, let’s focus on just one specific topic with the realm of internet marketing: Email Marketing.

My best payoff has always come by focusing on permission-based email marketing. Permission-based email marketing refers to the practice of collecting information (including email addresses) from website visitors and communicating with them via e-mail with their direct consent. The “permission” aspect of permission-based email marketing is what separates legitimate email marketers from the spammers that everyone despises.

My love of email marketing is strong for one reason: It works very well. Email marketing has been much like a never-ending goldmine: It enables us to produce income on demand simply by sending a good offer to our list. When you have thousands of loyal subscribers – as we do – and you put a strong and compatible offer in front of them, income becomes nearly automatic.

However, the key to successful email marketing is the development of a legitimate trust relationship with your subscribers. If you opt to send your subscribers a request for purchases every single day, they will likely tire of your badgering and cease reading your emails altogether.

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

All small business owners and webmasters want to improve the profitability of their endeavor. In order to accomplish this in the world of online business you need to develop an eMarketing strategy that helps grow your online presence, increase your revenue streams and ultimately get your name out there to more people. Of course there are many different potential strategies as well as several overarching factors to consider before getting started.

The first thing you have to think about when developing an eMarketing strategy is what your goals actually are. Different strategies will produce different results, and therefore it wouldn’t be smart to do anything “just because”. Instead you want to pursue a path that helps you directly reach a goal.

For example, if you are trying to directly increase your sales for the lowest cost possible, a targeted pay-per-click campaign utilising high quality landing pages may be the best route. You will be finding highly targeted consumers that are known to be interested in what you have to offer, and then it’s up to you and your website to close them out.

On the other hand, if you are just trying to grow your presence and increase your status in the community you may be interested in social networking. This will help you grow from a grassroots perspective, reaching out to people and groups that share the same interests and values as your company. If you are trying to entertain or demonstrate, video marketing could be a smart choice, while if you want to inform and build a reputation as a credible source, article marketing could be a great route to go.

This brings up another point as well, which is how much of a budget you have for an eMarketing campaign. PPC advertising will cost you every time someone visits a website, while social networking or other tactics such as SEO can be free if you complete them on your own. There is a whole range of potential costs, so after determining your goals you have to create your budget and then find the strategies that can keep your costs within range while still producing results.

The best eMarketing strategy for any company is going to involve pieces and parts of many different individual tactics. It would be unwise to rely only on one element, because you’ll be limiting your potential as well as limiting the number of people who you reach out to. Therefore, regardless of which strategies may work best for your specific circumstances, combining several of them into one cohesive plan is the best bet.

Remember that when you’re developing an eMarketing strategy that you have to consider what your specific goals are. There are different outlets depending on what you are trying to achieve. You also have to plan around your budget, because different tactics cost vastly different amounts. Some may be free while others could get quite pricey. So develop an eMarketing plan that takes all of these factors into consideration and you’ll help grow your business and your website and reach new heights.

Did you know that free articles and free content can be added to your website or newsletter? Interestingly, many website owners and webmasters do not realize that there is free content which can be used to enhance newsletters and websites. There are great benefits one can derive from relying on such material for website content and newsletter creation too.

Normally these free articles are submitted to article directories by web developers or online marketing specialists. What it means is that they would already be optimised for certain keywords and focus on a specific topic. Once you find the right article, you can be sure that it will attract traffic to your web site.

Another advantage identified in using free articles and free content on your website and newsletters is identified in the fact that they are offered to you at no cost whatsoever. Hiring writers can prove costly, and taking time to write articles yourself costs you time: this is not so when it comes to free content reposting.

Free website content does not take any of the website owner’s time to create. Writing articles and content can prove a cumbersome task, especially for those with limited or weak writing skills. Free content and free articles can be accessed via article directories on the Internet which can save the website owner hours in terms of website and content creation. Typically, the free articles, and free content can be added to a site or newsletter provided that the website owner maintains the structure and material in the article, attaches the author’s byline, and offers a back link to the article site where the material is offered or a link the author’s website.

Free web content helps keep your website current too. By adding this content to your website, you can add the latest information being supplied by reputable companies about product and services; this will allow you to supply your visitors with resourceful, informative information about new company developments, technologies, and services. Your web visitors will therefore find your website far more credible and useful too. What is nice about free content and free articles is that you can utilize the material without fear of copyright infringement as well, provided you follow the guidelines for posting the material you choose: the article directory site will clearly offer reposting rules and information for you.

Utilizing free information on your website or in newsletters makes your informational offerings more appealing. You can maintain a larger audience, and this might even improve your businesses bottom line profit margin. The informative articles that you choose to add to your site can be directly connected to services and products you offer as well, which will up your email opt-ins and click through conversions.

The only thing to look out for is the articles that are written by article writing software. Such articles are distributed for online marketing purposes only and they would not present any value on their own. Once you find an article – make sure that you read it before publishing on your web site or sending it to your clients.

If you are in internet marketing, then it is essential for you to take advantage of keyword research, and tools that can perform this vital service for you. This Market Samurai review offers an explanation of how this wildly-popular product is sweeping the market, one marketer at a time.
Market Samurai made headlines in internet marketing circles when it was released during its beta testing phase in Ed Dale’s 30 Day Challenge in 2008. The product has developed a lot since then and is now without a doubt the benchmark in keyword research.
The innovative team of internet marketers at Noble Samurai (out of Melbourne, Australia), led by Brett Hodgson, are responsible for this breakthrough in keyword research. They became tired of the inaccurate and inadequate results given by other, inferior research tools and decided to create this software as a way to remedy that.
As you will see once you use it, Market Samurai is head and shoulders above other niche research tools out there, owing to the fact that the tools are all optimized and efficient, not to mention reliable.
With just pressing a few buttons, Market Samurai gives you as many targeted keywords as you want, not to mention the cost-per-click (CPC) for Google AdWords, the estimated amount of SEO competition, and search traffic results based on the keyword and related site rankings.
Although Market Samurai is a leader in keyword research, it can do much more.
Market Samurai is forever adding new modules to perform a number of useful tasks. The latest module allows you to track your websites ranking for any number of keywords. You can then display this data in graphs allowing for easy performance analysis – a very useful tool.
Another tool which came with a heap of hype is the SEO Competition tool. This tool lets you see how fierce the competition is for any keyword you choose. A range of factors are taken into account when determining how hard it will be to rank for a particular keyword such as the number of back links to each website, title tags, page rank and age, and much more.
This software also includes yet another tool that lets you discover content that is related to your material, and also lets you promote your site via forums and blogs for back links. You would be very hard pressed to find another piece of software that offers such a total package of ability.
If you need even more capabilities, then it would please you to know that Market Samurai has many other modules currently in development. One of these allows you to publish content. Another, called Monetization, helps you earn more revenue from your keyword. Yet another ties into AdWords and maximizing your profit from Google. While we don’t yet know the exact specifications of these components, you can be sure that they will match or exceed the quality of the other Market Samurai features developed thus far.
It’s very hard to do justice to the product in this short Market Samurai review, however I hope you can see what benefit Market Samurai can be. It really is the benchmark in terms of keyword research and a must have for any serious internet marketer.
Market Samurai is a good example of a product that can help you earn more online. Get the inside word on other hot products like The Money Siphon System by checking out our tell-all reviews of these products today.

Market research is an essential element of any organization that wants to offer products or services that are focused and well targeted. Business decisions that are based on good intelligence and good market research can minimise risk and pay dividends. By making market research part and parcel of the business process and conducting market research throughout the life cycle of a product or service market research will bring the following benefits:-

Market research will help you better communicate – Your current customers experiences are a valuable information source, not only will they allow you to gauge how well you currently meet their expectations they can also tell you where you are getting things right and more importantly where you are getting things wrong. By asking the customer you not only show them that you care but you also take the guesswork out of customer services.

Market research helps you identify opportunities – If you are planning to launch a new product and want to know how people will react then market research will help, not only in predicting how well the product will be received, but also by testing the marketing message to see if that needs to be adjusted.

Market research will minimise risk – Market research can identifying what is needed for a new service and product and ensure that the development of a product matches demand.

Market research creates benchmarks and helps you measure your progress – Unless you measure you will not be able to properly gauge how well your business is performing. Preliminary research may be able to identify problems in the service you intend to offer or in your product, regular market research will show if progress is being made and, if positive, will help motivate a team.

Considering the benefits that market research will bring to any organization it is perhaps surprising how few businesses invest sufficient resources to gather good intelligence that will help them improve business. Many may think that market research takes too much time and effort but that is just not the case anymore as through the power of the Internet online survey software is readily available and vital market research data can now be gathered in a quick, simple and cost effective manner.

The Microsoft Blog, from top to bottom, is a septic tank of misinformation. Microsoft has a long history of disgraceful behaviors and self-serving objectives and this futile public campaign is right on par with their long, distinguished track record.
For starters, it’s purely transparent. We have David Webster, a high-level Microsoft manager who is simply another Borg puppet for the Microsoft army of self-serving, profit-seeking, white collar liars and phonies.
His “Vista Blog” begins begins with a T-Rex lie: Microsoft Vista customer satisfaction statistics. According to Borg robot David Webster, Vista has a 90%-plus customer satisfaction establishment. You can read his deep, deep BS here: http://windowsvistablog.com/blogs/windowsvista/archive/2008/08/26/mojave-the-experiment-continues.aspx
I KNOW that Vista does not have a 90% customer satisfaction rating because I know Vista. Yes, I have struggled with it for more than five minutes. No, I am not basing my STRONG opinion of Vista on rumors or advice of friends. I KNOW Vista inside-out; I could write volumes of technical information about all versions. Having stated these things I now state: MICROSOFT VISTA IS PURELY A FAILURE.
I find few things more insulting than despirate corporate measures that assume consumers are idiots. Hey Mr. Webster: IN A PIG’S EYE!!
Microsoft Vista is a bigger failure than Windows Millenium Edition! It is no surprise that Microsoft has moved in entirely wrong directions with Windows evolution and Vista is the latest testimony to Microsoft’s ongoing failures.
The Mojave Experiment is a Microsoft campaign where they interview computer-saavy consumers who are anti-Vista. Borg personnel interview these consumers (undoubtably rehearsed, actors playing as common consumers) and ascertain consumer reasons for being anti-Vista. They then reveal a new Microsoft Operating System called “Mojave” and show these folks a phony operating system package for the product (this aspect of the experiment surely comes very naturally for Microsoft – deceiving and misrepresenting consumers). These anti-Vista people then examine laptops with this new “Mojave” operating system and proclaim joy, excitement and approval for the system. Then Microsoft personnel reveal that Mojave is really just Microsoft Vista.
So let’s break down Microsoft’s marketing campaign: They are implying that anti-Vista consumers are simply ill-informed, prejudice and misguided people who need to be shown how wonderful Vista really is. By disguising it as a new operating system, the prejudices are circumvented and an unbiased judgement of Vista is rendered – and it’s all positive.
This pathetic marketing campaign reveals that Microsoft thinks the general public are morons and easily conned. “Vista is not really a piece of garbage. Those are all nasty rumors and we’re confronting all of those people that act as bad influences for other, unsuspecting consumers”.
Could this corporation possibly be more morally deficient or arrogant? This assumption of lack of intelligence in the wide population of consumers is deeply insulting at best.
The Mojave Experiment – code name “Polish a Turd”.
Vista is garbage. It is a tangible testament to the adage: Lots of things work well in theory but not in practice. Vista is a record-breaking pile of over-bloated code built upon good ideas but poorly implemented and integrated. The net result? A Microsoft operating system that has NO PLACE in any office or commercial environment and certainly no place in any consumer’s home computer.
Sadly, Microsoft continues with it’s anti-trust behaviors by forcing all of the big computer vendors to load new systems with Vista and remove the customer’s option to choose Windows XP.
To qualify my comments and sentiments: I am a 15-year IT professional. I am a 4-generation MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and a 3-generation MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer). I know Microsoft technologies as well as Microsoft Tier-Three technical support engineers and have a long, distinguished and accomplished career as a computer consultant.
I have made a career and lifetime of fortune from Microsoft technologies and believe whole-heartedly that Bill Gates deserves to be in jail. I believe this because it is the truth. Vista is more of the same – Microsoft failures from top to bottom of the corporation and their stubborn commitment to ride it into the ground instead of facing the catastrophic financial losses associated with Vista development. And, as per usual, consumers must suffer for it.
I adamantly advise all of my customers, colleagues and friends to run away from Vista as fast as they can. If you’ve got a computer with Vista – I PROMISE YOU – it will run so much better with Windows XP. The more powerful, advanced

Presently, all sorts of users share the electronic market, and competition is very tough in all domains of activity. From small investors to large corporations, business owners have concluded that the online development of a business usually means a financial advantage to the evolution of the company. Therefore, the clear proof of how extensively things have evolved in this direction is the proliferation of the agencies providing online marketing assistance and consultancy for different business sectors.

The design of the web site represents the first step in the growth of an Internet business, and website support and monitoring follow immediately after. Advertisers, marketing experts and web masters also work together to cope with online necessities of a corporation. The number of transactions run on the Internet is often just as large as that registered on the real market, and this reveals more on the growth of the Internet in general. The issue that becomes nevertheless every day more controversial is the dark side of Internet marketing.

For many people, scams, data theft, computer-virus code release, fraud, SPAM, false investments and so on, represent another perspective on Internet business that every body fears to fall victim too. Currently, there is an alarmingly high number of warnings issued against the false pretenses of certain web sites or private Internet users who lure people to invest money in return for the longed-for wealth. On the other side, the healthy alternative for developing an Internet business is product promotion, advertising, service offer, affiliate marketing and anything that brings a regular earnest revenue.

A close comparison of the positive and negative parts of an Internet business put together as relevant for the specifics of the activity should create a clear picture over whether it is right or wrong to invest in the Internet business market. However, the problem is professional marketing consultancy, eguides, books, online articles and informative websites will give you only a somehow reduced perspective of what an Internet business involves in terms of success or failure chances. It is a good start, but the investigations one makes before an investment should definitely go a lot further than that.
