Mozilla CEO: Don't Understand The Internet? Get Out Of Government
AUSTIN, Texas – The Internet is a way of life for billions of people but some in Washington still don’t seem to get it, Mozilla CEO Gary Kovacs said on Saturday.
“If you don’t understand the Internet, you don’t have any place in government,” he told an audience at the annual South by Southwest conference in Austin.

Chapin White of the Center for Studying Health System Change has published an important new paper in Health Services Research, a journal of health economics, which suggests that a critical part of the Affordable Care Act—its expansion of Medicaid coverage to 16 million more Americans—may actually reduce those individuals’ access to health care.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Emboldened by their victory in quashing online piracy legislation, U.S. Internet companies are gearing up for a battle over whether consumers should be able to restrict efforts to gather personal data.
Google Inc, Facebook, Apple Inc and other tech companies have lobbied against congressional and federal agency proposals that would let Internet users press “do not track” buttons on their browsers to block targeted advertising.
