I currently have an online website, i sell pet related products, but what are the effective ways to drive business to my site. I’ve looked into affiliate marketing and ebay, but what are some other ways to sell my goods???

Market a website, yes – but you need to drive traffic to it.
I’ve read post after post here with people saying that their website has been up months but NO sales etc…! I was in exactly the same situation as you 4 months ago, so I really know how you feel
You need website traffic and you know it.
