I write a blog about markets and walks and whilst the walk which the Cortauld is running about Sickert`s sick Camden, I shall decline to participate and/or pan.
Why? Because Sickert unlike Hitchcock was NOT inspired by the depravity of London but by the genuine, bourgeois working-classness of the place.
Perhaps the lady leading the walk has mistaken him for Alfred Hitchcock who WAS inspired by Sickert`s nudes but used them to his own (unfair) advantage.
I might not have grasped what this is all about. I think you are making an objection to to the Courtauld gallery and the exhibition of Walter Sickert’s work and the way it is described. Your question is curious and English not being my first language I cannot understand it. Perhaps somone else will explain it to me. I am sorry.
It is my guess you are American for your English is too modern
Is english YOUR first language?
I don’t know the history of this Mr.Sickert, in relationship to A.Hitchcock. But your question is ….”if it works, fake it”??
I don’t know darlin,,,the way I see it,,,it it works, then why bother faking it?
English is my first language, and I don’t understand the question either
Just a guess here…
You don’t get many hits on your blog, do you?
If your blog is written the same way as this question, I don’t think anyone could make heads nor tails of what you are talking about.
g-day!
and the ? is???????????????????
English is my 1st language and I don’t understand the ? either.
