How To Start Improving My Blog?

I just started a blog and want to discuss the other side of this mommy. I want to discuss my hobbies such as cooking, decorating, flea marketing and post some photographs. Any ideas or suggestions?
The blog address is www.mommysaidicould.blogspot.com I think.
Also, I realize this doesn’t really fit this category, but I’d like some feedback from other mommy bloggers.

Have you ever heard of Dooce.com? She’s a mommy blogger too, you can read some of her posts and it’ll teach you how to write.
