You are required to purchase the laptop computer specified by the Institute: the HP nw8440, described on the order forms. This is necessary to ensure that you have a computer that can be serviced by the Institute and is compatible with the campus network that delivers service to classrooms, laboratories and residence hall rooms. Other units may not satisfy these requirements.
