The internet is quite a multimedia medium these days and it’s not uncommon to come across many websites with audio available as a method of communication.

If you run your own website and are looking to add sound you might be asking the question “how do I stream audio from my website?”

Streaming audio from your website can be a very easy process. How you choose to do it will depend on your level of technical inclination.

Basically, here’s what needs to happen for you to stream audio from your website:

1. You need hosting – Your audio must ‘live’ somewhere. This is called being hosted. You can host it yourself, which means putting it on your website server. This can get expensive as the more you have the more space and bandwidth it will take up (costing you more money!)

2. You need a program – Once your audio is hosted somewhere you will need a software program to play it. Streaming audio means that it plays online and you don’t need to download it to your computer to hear it.

The Easiest Way to Add Sound on Your Website:

Even though I’m fairly technically savvy for the last five years I’ve chosen to use a software program called Audio Acrobat to host and stream all my audios. This makes it very easy for me.

But if there are hundreds or thousands of affiliates for a product, how can you stand out from the crowd if all you’re doing is using the same promo materials as everyone else?

One way would be to offer audio reviews of the products.

You don’t need pro-quality equipment because it’s better if you come across as “the guy (or girl) next door” who just wants to tell you about this cool new widget you found.

And you don’t need “internal” knowledge of the product — all you’re doing is letting people know what you like about the product, you’re not there to create a comprehensive audio tutorial.

Uses for Streaming Audio?

Some great uses are:

- audio articles
– interviews
– information products
– directions
– introductions
– welcome messages

Using audio on your website is just another way to make it ‘sticky’. Using this technique in combination with high quality information is sure to bring your visitors back again and again

For us, the Internet is a good platform for us to showcase our talents, broadcast our belief and musings, and to express who we are. It is not really surprising that my friends and I are always on the lookout for new websites that can help us achieve our goal of discovering unique and fresh talents, ideas and concepts in cyberspace. We are also into online radio programs and sites aside from free video sites. Online Radio

One of the newest discoveries that my friend Mimi found on the Net is IMRadio, or Independent Music Radio. Since this online radio features music from unknown local bands that came from various cities in the US and even other countries, it became our group’s instant favorite. Any artist who wants to share his song can just easily upload his original music on the website and have the whole world listen to it. One good characteristic of this online radio station is that it is free, whether you upload your song or listen to its music.

It does not take one to be an Internet savvy to use the website so you would not encounter any difficulty in navigating the website. Although rock songs are more usual than the others, the playlist contains various genres. You will just be surprised of being carried away by the awesome melodies and compositions of the songs. You will be enticed to hang on listening to IMRadio because it caters to various sounds, types of music, and fresh songs even if some songs are not written in English. My friends and I would have created a band and uploaded our song too if we only knew how to play instruments. Music Videos

Additonal reason why we hold on IMRadio as our favorite from all online radios is that the fans can easily communicate with the bands. A short profile of each singer or band is is provided where they can chat with their local or foreign fans whenever they want to. Although there are some musicians that are not fond of communicating with their fans, some are easy to get along and communicate with.

When it comes to censorship, IMRadio is not suppressed. This means you will be able to hear the songs raw. If you are into metallic rock, you can hear bands scream, curse, and blast their instruments just the way you like it. You can surely find several songs that you can relate with since the theme or message of the songs in IMRadio are varied. My friends love Sakis Gouzonis, one of the musicians who had released his New Earth Album which included Elohim, Eternal Peace, and From the Sky. Internet Radio Station

Some require marketing, some work with drop-shipping, and some are MLM opportunities or other schemes that aren’t really much of a business at all. Knowing which types of business opportunities you’re getting involved with is going to make all the difference, so know what you’re doing.

There is a lot that you’ll need to learn before you get too involved with online business. Take a minute to figure out what you want, where you are going to get it, and how much it’s going to cost you, both in time and money. If you’re just getting started, here are 5 things that you MUST know about online business opportunities.

1. Online businesses are not all created equal. Each one has their own specific creator(s) and ways of operating. Know this first. Learn about the different things that you can get from each different business and go from there.

2. Some online businesses are scams. You’re not shocked. You might be shocked to learn that there are far less scams than people think. Be cautious, but don’t be a cynic. Every business opportunity could be your next ticket to success, so never assume anything.

3. With the online business opportunity, you have to spend money to make money. That’s just how it works. Make sure that you spend what you can afford to spend so that you can succeed without breaking the bank. Find a program like Maverick Money Makers where you can make your investment back in less than a week.

4. Trust no one until you get to know them. Salespeople are designed to be smooth talkers, don’t let that fool you. Just figure what the deal is, and then go from there. If it looks like a business opportunity, and acts like a business opportunity, you should be good to go. Just be cautious, again.

5. Find online businesses that offer video training like the awesome video tutorials from Maverick Money Makers. That way, you can just sign up, sit back, and watch your way to success. It will be a lot more interesting and useful to watch videos than it would be to read a book or sit through a boring audio tape.

There is a lot more to learn about online businesses, but these are key elements that you have to know before you get involved. Everything else you can basically learn as you go. Get out there and check out all the great business opportunities that are out there for you. As long as you keep these tips in mind, you should be just fine. Never assume anything, don’t settle for less than the best, and find private coaching and easy video tutorials for the best results in your online business opportunities. After that, it’s up to you to decide what comes next.

The so-called “credit crisis” is gaining momentum. Investors increasingly question the solidity of the banking system, as evidenced by banks’ tumbling stock prices and rising funding costs. With bank credit supply expected to tighten, the profit outlook for the corporate sector, which has benefited greatly from “easy credit” conditions, deteriorates, pushing firms’ market valuations lower. In fact, peoples’ optimism has given way to fears of job losses and recession on a global scale.
Free market advocates, however, should not get carried away by the price action in the market place. In a free market, there is nothing wrong with individuals reassessing hitherto held expectations, entailing changes in relative prices. A free market is a discovery process, based on trial and error. Usually the effects of errors made by some are compensated for by the gains of successful decisions taken by others, and the economy expands.
Sometimes, however, the effects of errors dominate, and the economy experiences what people call a crisis: income growth is (feared to be) lower than what people think it should, and could, be. In that sense a crisis is a correction of bad decisions. It is an indispensable part of the free market. It pushes those producers out of business who do not satisfy the needs of their clients, and it rewards those who serve their customers well.
A crisis must be feared, however, if it has been caused by government action, and if the obvious signs of the crisis provoke ever greater doses of government intervention. In this case, the market would be prevented from doing its job properly. Bad decisions would be perpetuated, and the ultimate crisis may become nasty.
Diagnosing the Causes of the Crisis
It is against this background that one may wish to review the US central bank’s series of rate cuts, the latest being a big 75-basis-points rate slash on January 22, 2008, which brought the official Fed Funds Target Rate to 3.5%.[1] While the Fed’s moves were mostly hailed in public as appropriate measures to help the economy avoid recession, Austrian economists hold a completely different view.
According to the Austrian Monetary Theory of the Trade Cycle it is the government-run money-supply monopoly that has not only caused the crisis; the theory also diagnoses that rate cuts will not solve the crisis, but will make it even worse.
Central banks, the government agents holding the power over the printing press, pursue a monetary policy of “interest rate steering” or, in other words, pushing the interest rate down as much as possible by relentlessly increasing credit and money supply. It is this inflationary monetary policy that causes trouble.
Ludwig von Mises pointed out that
today credit expansion is exclusively a government practice. As far as private banks and bankers are instrumental in issuing fiduciary media, their role is merely ancillary and concerns only technicalities. The governments alone direct the course of affairs. They have attained full supremacy in all matters concerning the size of circulation credit. While the size of the credit expansion that private banks and bankers are able to engineer on an unhampered market is strictly limited, the governments aim at the greatest possible amount of credit expansion.[2]
Initially, the artificial lowering of the interest rate creates an illusion of richness and affluence. The increase in the money stock via bank credit expansion erroneously suggests that the supply of savings increases. Investment picks up, and the economy expands. The illusion of plentiful resources leads to malinvestment, and sooner or later the boom turns into a bust. While the money-fueled expansion is a manifestation of the crisis, it is actually the slump — the correction of malinvestment — that people complain about.
The alleged fight against the crisis
Once a crisis unfolds, central banks are called upon to lower interest rates — in ignorance of the fact that a monetary policy of pushing down the interest rate has caused the misery in the first place. Cheaper borrowing costs, it is believed, would revive the economy by stimulating investment and consumption, thereby adding to output and employment. Lower interest rates would raise the prices of stocks, bonds, and housing, translating into “wealth effects” which in turn strengthen demand.
The obsession with a policy of lowering the interest rate is rooted in a deep-seated ideological aversion against the interest rate. It is a destructive ideology, in particular if the government is in charge of the money supply. Because then the government central bank will lower the interest rate to whatever is deemed appropriate from the viewpoint of the government, pressure groups, and vested interest.
However, the interest rate is a reflection of peoples’ “time preference”: because of scarcity, people value goods and services available today (“present goods”) more highly than goods and services available at a later point in time (“future goods”).[3] This is why present goods trade at a premium over future goods. That premium is the interest rate, or the “time preference rate.” The interest rate is a free-market phenomenon.
A policy of suppressing the market interest rate through a government-sponsored credit expansion, Mises noted, is a policy against the free market:
Credit expansion is the governments’ foremost tool in their struggle against the market economy. In their hands it is the magic wand designed to conjure away the scarcity of capital goods, to lower the rate of interest or to abolish it altogether, to finance lavish government spending, to expropriate the capitalists, to contrive everlasting booms, and to make everybody prosperous.[4]
Causing Inflation
A monetary policy of lowering the interest rate via expanding credit and money corresponds to the widely held view that “some inflation” is a requisite for economic expansion. In fact, the “inflation bias” has become so widespread that nowadays inflation (the rise in the money supply) is much less feared than deflation (the decline in the money supply).
Mises was aware of what happens once the inevitable crisis caused by a manipulation of the interest rate unfolds: “In the opinion of the public, more inflation and more credit expansion are the only remedy against the evils inflation and credit expansion have brought about.”[5]
The current credit crisis is a sad case in point: with monetary policy having caused inflation and malinvestment, it is now called upon to pursue a policy that leads to even more inflation and malinvestment.
Could monetary policy become “ineffective,” that is, could it fail to create inflation? For instance, the Bank of Japan’s rate cuts around the beginning of the 1990s — as a reaction to falling asset prices and a growing volume of bad loans in banks’ portfolio — did not succeed in bringing credit and money growth rates back to precrisis levels. Even with official rates at virtually zero, the economy remained in stagnation and the Japanese stock market continued to decline.
Against the backdrop of the Japanese experience it should be noted that there is no limit to central-bank money printing. Central banks can, at any one time, buy any assets from banks and nonbanks such as bonds, real estate, foreign currencies, etc. If a central bank buys, say, debt from the corporate sector, it increases the money stock in the hands of nonbanks directly; the commercial banking sector is not needed for increasing the money supply.
Central banks’ unlimited power over the money supply has been made pretty clear by the chairman of the US Federal Reserve, Ben S. Bernanke, in November 2002:
[T]he U.S. government has a technology, called a printing press (or, today, its electronic equivalent), that allows it to produce as many U.S. dollars as it wishes at essentially no cost. By increasing the number of U.S. dollars in circulation, or even by credibly threatening to do so, the U.S. government can also reduce the value of a dollar in terms of goods and services, which is equivalent to raising the prices in dollars of those goods and services. We conclude that, under a paper-money system, a determined government can always generate higher spending and hence positive inflation.[6]
So if the government is determined to create inflation, there should be hardly any doubt that there will be inflation. The Fed’s series of rate cuts suggests that the bank tries to create additional credit and money via lowering the interest rate on base money. But if such action fails to yield inflation, it does not take much to expect that the central bank may take recourse to less “regular” operations, if and when such an inflation policy is deemed necessary to solve the credit crisis.
So far, at least, US bank credit and money supply growth has remained at a very high level. In December 2007, banks’ commercial and industrial loans grew at 10.9% y/y, and total bank loans and leases were up 10.8% y/y. Real estate loans — most likely as a consequence of the defaults in the subprime markets — slowed down somewhat, but were still running at 6.3% y/y. Against this background the Fed rate cuts should actually accelerate the erosion of the exchange value of money further.
Threatening Freedom
Inflation is a societal evil. It redistributes real wealth from creditors to debtors. It impairs the role of money as a means of exchange. The efficiency of the market’s price mechanism is greatly reduced, encouraging bad decisions, which in turn harm peoples’ economic well-being. At the end of the day, inflation is a serious threat to freedom. The majority of the people, suffering badly from inflation, would most likely blame the free market for their plight, rather than blame the central bank for the debasing of the currency.
Mises noted:
Nothing harmed the cause of liberalism more than the almost regular return of feverish booms and of the dramatic breakdown of bull markets followed by lingering slumps. Public opinion has become convinced that such happenings are inevitable in the unhampered market economy. People did not conceive that what they lamented was the necessary outcome of policies directed toward a lowering of the rate of interest by means of credit expansion. They stubbornly kept to these policies and tried in vain to fight their undesired consequences by more and more government interference.[7]
From the Austrian viewpoint, the current credit crisis appears to be a precursor of great inflation. If a deliberate policy of great inflation is chosen in the United States, a monetary policy of debasing the currency would most likely also take hold in other currency areas of the world. The credit crisis has become a threat to the free societal order: as people become dispirited with the free market order, the door would be pushed open for anti–free market policies.
Notes
[1] The FOMC rate cut was made “in view of a weakening of the economic outlook and increasing downside risks to growth. While strains in short-term funding markets have eased somewhat, broader financial market conditions have continued to deteriorate and credit has tightened further for some businesses and households.” US Federal Reserve, Press Release, 22 January 2008.

I have a slight confession to make…

I am highly addicted to article marketing. You can try and entice me with a number of other internet marketing strategies, but article marketing will always be my favorite.

You probably know about the many benefits of article marketing. Syndicating your articles will increase your targeted traffic, turn you into an expert in the field of your choice, brand your name, and help you build your opt-in list. However, article marketing boasts a number of other benefits left mostly undiscovered and I want to share with you some additional ways that you can benefit.

Get Your Article and Your Photo Into Google News

Want to get your article and even your picture into Google News? Well, your entrance stands only a few clicks away. The key is getting published on a website that is syndicated on Google News. American Chronicle is one of those web sites.

First, click over to www.americanchronicle.com, scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on the link that says “submit work”. From there you can sign up to be a contributor.

If accepted as a contributor, you will then be able to submit articles along with your picture. Most of their articles are syndicated on Google News and will be available to the millions of searchers who go to Google News each and every day.

I have been published in Google News multiple times and am still amazed at how easy it is.

Using Blogs and RSS to Auto-Syndicate Your Articles

Blogs are a very powerful tool for marketing your online business. When they first appeared on the scene, blogs were thought of nothing more than just a tool for people to express their rants, feelings, and personal interests. However, blogs quickly blossomed into a tool that can be used for marketing, branding, selling, and promotion.

Good blog software automatically produces an rss feed. With an rss feed, you can instantly allow people to tune in and subscribe to your content. In addition, a webmaster could simply take that link and use it on their own website to publish your latest article headlines. Each article headline would contain a link back to your blog to allow people to read the entire article.

Simply by allowing publishers to feed your content to their website visitors, you can reach a new audience that otherwise would never find you.

If you really want to kick this technique into overdrive, you could even exchange your rss feeds with other webmasters. You both receive quality content that you can share with your visitors as well as 5 or so incoming links to your site.

Exclusive Reports and Articles

By writing exclusive reports and articles, you can get incoming links to your site from VERY high traffic private membership sites or even on free content sites that seek original content rather than rehashed information. The trick here is that you are offering the webmaster an exclusive article that will only be published on THEIR site. You will not be able to publish your article anywhere else or even on your own site. However, I think you will find it well worth your while. This method holds the power to get you in front of some very large, captive audiences.

Using this technique puts a unique twist on your marketing approach. To make this work you must find highly targeted, high-traffic sites to write for. If you begin to offer them exclusive, quality content, they may very well want you to become a regular contributor to their publication. This would mean lots of targeted traffic for you. So, don’t take this advanced tactic for granted.
Turn a Series of Articles into a Podcast

This is one of my favorite methods for recycling my article content. You simply turn your articles into a podcast. If you know anything about podcasting, then you know that it’s big and it’s growing. The last time I checked, podcasts boasted a listener base of well over 20 million listeners. You should be getting a piece of this traffic and with the methods I’m about to teach you, I know that you will.

All you need to do is take 4-5 of your articles that are related to the same topic and turn them into an audio recording. Now, we will not be going into the technical aspects of podcasting, but if you want to get started quickly, I suggest you head on over to www.podcastautocue.com. They provide some free podcast software of great quality.

Once you create your recording, you automatically have your very own podcast ready to load up to a variety of podcast directories, including Yahoo, iTunes, Odeo, and iPodder.org. Each one of these directories can create additional traffic streams to your website. So, what are you waiting for, get recording and start receiving some extra web site promotion!

Promote Your Articles on Squidoo

Squidoo is one of the largest growing websites on the internet. So, why not take advantage. Squidoo developed an online platform that makes it easy for anyone to build lenses on topics that they are passionate about. You can even inject your own style and personality into your lens, making them a great tool for branding.

So, whenever you write an article, go ahead and post it to your squidoo lens. Better yet, just post your rss feed onto your lens. Don’t worry about the technical side, Squidoo provides plenty of tutorials that explain everything in detail. So, start creating your own lenses and get some free exposure.

However, if you decide to create a Squidoo lens, make sure that you create a lens of excellent quality. You don’t want any of your marketing efforts to send a negative message. Just like your articles, your squidoo lens must provide your readers with quality information.

Provide Your Articles to Your Affiliates

If you want to boost your affiliate program, you must provide your affiliates with all the right tools. Make it extremely simple for them to promote your website and they are much more likely to do so.

Articles are one of the best resources you can provide them. Encourage your affiliates to post your articles on their website or in their ezine. You do this by sending them the article preformatted, with their affiliate link already inserted in the resource box. Their only job is to copy, paste, and promote.

You now know some advanced article marketing strategies that will help take your promotional efforts to the next level. I urge you to take action on these powerful, yet simple, ideas.

There is nothing more motivating than seeing the results of our marketing efforts… and believe me, with article marketing, they can be quite fruitful.

A podcast is a pre-recorded audio program, very much like a radio program that is listened to on the computer. Podcasting is distributing audio or video content via RSS 2.0 or atom as WordPress creates all the necessary links for the site.
Using WordPress for Podcasting
WordPress works for podcasting. It starts with the creation of a video or audio that is intended to be shared. The file is uploaded to a server and the line to the file is posted in the weblog. WordPress automatically includes a link to the file in the RSS/Atom feed. Listeners will then subscribe to the feed where new files are downloaded automatically.
Podcasting is supported by WordPress 1.5. Linking to an audio file in one of the posts will result to WordPress automatically adding the enclosure tag to the RSS2 feed to make it usable as a podcast. It is important to use a complete and absolute URL when linking to an audio file or WordPress will not be able to make an enclosure for it.
The RSS2 feed should be made available by putting a linking somewhere on the page. As of WordPress 1.5, the RSS 2.0/Atom links are located at the bottom of the page by default. This only works for posts and not for static pages. When a linked file is inaccessible upon publishing of the post, WordPress will not be able to collect the information it needs from the linked files.
A change in the linked file would require refurbishing of the posts so that WordPress can update its file size information about the file. In order for WordPress to recognize m4a and m4b files as podcast, the web server has to be configured to serve the right content type. An XML at the end of the RSS/Atom URL may occasionally be needed for it to work properly.
Dedicated podcast feeds can be made by creating a category in the Admin>Manage>Categories panel for the audio files, and a post containing an audio link must be assigned to every category. If audio file are being hosted on http://archive.org, a custom field called “enclosure” should be added and the full URL is posted for the MP3 file in the value field.
Podcasting allows anyone to create his/her own audio programming and deliver it via the web. The usual way of distributing podcasts are through RSS enclosures as it allows the reference of binary data from within the RSS feed. Podcast readers subscribe to the RSS feed and download the audio files contained in the enclosures. The downloaded audio files are then moved to a portable audio player for later consumption.
Of WordPress Plugins
There are resources that will help in getting to know the WordPress blog platform better. The WordPress podcast features easy and understandable commentaries about WordPress plus a couple of plugins. It is a great learning resource for any skill or experience level. The Diagnosis plugin presents the detailed information about the server, operating system and the database. It is presented in a way that could be understood by the least technically-inclined person using it. Most will be able to appreciate its rich tech content.
The PodPress plugin is designed to make podcasting with WordPress as easy as possible. It has several features that will make its use fruitful to the user. It has full featured and automatic feed generation as well as auto generation of enclosure tag. It provides a preview of what the podcast would look like on iTunes. The podcast is able to download stats and there is support provided for premium content for pay accounts. This plugin makes adding a podcast to a post very simple and makes possible the viewing of MP3 files’ ID3 tag information. The contents of the ID3 tags can even be copied into the post.
It likewise provides control where the player will display within the posts. Support for various formats including video podcasting is given while it facilitates support for unlimited number of media files. It has automatic media player for MP3, MP4, MOV, FLV, ASF, WMV, AVI and others. It also includes in-line and Pop-up Windows support and provides preview image for videos.
The Mechanics of Podcasting
Podcasting’s publish/subscribe model makes use of the push technology wherein the information provider chooses which files to offer in a feed and the subscriber chooses among available feed channels. As a digital recording of a radio broadcast or similar program which is made available on the Internet for downloading to a personal audio player, podcasting makes use of an automatic mechanism that transfers multi-media computer files from a server to a client. Podcasts are generally analogous to a recorded television or radio server.
The content provider starts by making a file available on the Internet usually by posting the file on a publicly-available web server. However, it is not technically necessary that the file be publicly accessible but it is required that it be accessible through some known URL or a general-purpose Internet address. He then acknowledges the existence of the file by referencing it in another file known as the feed.
The feed is a machine-readable list of the URLs by which episodes of the show may be accessed. One episode refers to the originally made file while the list provides other information such as publish dates, titles and accompanying text description of the series, and each of its episodes. This list can either be published in RSS format and less frequently in atom format.
Feeds may contain entries for all episodes in the series but are usually limited to a short list of the most recent episodes. A feed from one author is commonly used for standard podcasts but the practice of having multiple authors contribute episodes to a single podcast feed is fast becoming popular. The location known as the feed URI or feed URL at which the feed is posted by the content provider is expected to be permanent. This is to be made known to the intended audience.
The user enters the feed URI into a software called a podcatcher or aggregator which retrieves and processes data from the said feed. A podcatcher is a program which starts when the computer is started and runs in the background. A set of feed URIs is managed by it which is added by the user and downloaded at a specified interval. Any substantive change in the feed data from the time it was previously checked will trigger automatic downloading of the location of the most recent item to the user’s computer. Some podcatchers make the newly downloaded episodes available to a user’s portable media player. Downloaded episodes can be played, replayed, or archived like any other computer file.

This software is easy to use, provides a variety of templates and offer excellent support to bloggers. There are many options available to bloggers and other blogging programs may be better known and offer slightly different features but many bloggers are quite pleased with WordPress. This article will offer some useful information for bloggers who are considering starting a blog with WordPress such as reasons to choose WordPress, tips on starting a blog and information about the support offered by WordPress. Based on this information as well as their own research bloggers can decide whether WordPress is right for them or whether they should seek out a different blog network.

Reasons to Choose WordPress

There are many great reasons to choose WordPress to start a blog. Some of these reasons include a great variety of templates, the ability to categorize and tag posts easily, features such as spell check, previews and autosave, the ability to post text, audio files and video files, a variety of privacy options and the ability to track statistical data related to the blog in addition to other great features. Some of these features may be more important to some bloggers than others so deciding whether or not WordPress is right for you will largely be a matter of personal preference. For example bloggers with little or no programming experience may enjoy the myriad of templates available on WordPress while bloggers who are concerned about privacy issues may be more interested in the privacy options available through WordPress. Carefully investigating these features will help bloggers determine if they should start a blog with WordPress.

Starting a Blog with WordPress

Bloggers who opt to start a blog with WordPress will certainly not be disappointed by the amount of time it takes to start a blog. A blogger can literally start a blog with WordPress within minutes. This is tremendously important to bloggers who are eager to get started and do not want to deal with a long process to start a blog. The only requirements for starting a blog are a valid email address and a username. The blogger enters this information into the signup page and receives a password almost instantly. Next the blogger simply has to check his email, follow the activation link provided and use the password provided and the process is complete. The blogger can start blogging immediately.

Support Offered by WordPress

For many first time bloggers the type of support offered is very important. This is because first time bloggers may have quite a few questions about the process of starting a basic blog and once they establish a basic blog they may have additional questions about using advanced features and customizing the blog. WordPress offers a great deal of support for bloggers of all skill levels. The support offered by WordPress includes the ability to contact the support staff as well as the ability to receive support from other members through online forums. Although the support staff is incredibly responsive some bloggers enjoy the ability to communicate with other bloggers in forums. This is because the forums are active 24 hours a day and bloggers can find support from peers at any time.

Hi, and welcome back.
My name is George Collins and I know that there are a lot of people out there that are looking for ways to really get more people to look at their site. So I wrote some articles and I’m going to share it with you, and it will give you some ideas. So let’s get started.
Where Do I Get Help With Branding
It is the same thing that happens when you brand yourself. When you learn something thoroughly, I do not care what it is, anything that anyone else does not know, you are an expert at it. We have a book in our top members area on squidoo.com. Squidoo came out last summer. We found it on the search engines because someone else was using it in their marketing, it just came out recently. We began to look at it and try to figure out how we could use it to generate traffic. When you know how to market you can pick up and find anything that you can use that can potentially generate traffic for you and that way you can apply it to your marketing methods.
So we picked up squidoo and tested a few things, tweaked it to our system and all of a sudden at that time it had about thirty-seven thousand lenses on it. Lenses is what squidoo uses, kind of like how blogger uses blogs, squidoo uses lenses. And in about a month or so we were in the top one hundred with three different lenses of thirty-seven thousand other users and lenses on squidoo.com. We were using this traffic from squidoo through the search engines, because we found out that google loves squidoo, so we started implementing things and we found out that you could make thousands of dollars a month using affiliate programs, marketing different things.
That is just an example. We have videos and books on how to use it, how to get yourself in the top one hundred, how to use it to generate as much traffic as you want for free. The great thing is a lot of these traffic methods that you use to generate sales in your business are free, you do not have to pay a dime for it. But there are two things in marketing. When you are going to market and find a method to use to generate traffic, you are going to do two things. One, you are either going to exchange your time, which is a free method in order to get something for free you have got to exchange your time to set things up and do things. Or, you pay money and it does not take a lot of your time.
Like for instance, pay per click. If I developed a campaign for pay per click, I would develop an ad and put the keywords in there, I would set it up and once I tweak it to where I want it, like we show you on the pay per click videos to where it runs properly, I do not spend much time doing it. That campaign will run by itself. I might check it once a week just to make sure my ad might not have fallen down, just to keep it in the prime position that I want it in, but it runs by itself. Whereas if I were writing an article, which is a free method, if I am doing the article method, I am going to, especially initially when I am using it for a marketing tactic for a product or a service that I am marketing, or a home based business, or mlm, I am going to write one to three articles a day, probably three.
An article should only take you maybe fifteen or twenty minutes to write. And it will take you less than five minutes to use the tactics that we have in our members area in the marketing videos for press releases and articles, but I am going to do that for like thirty days, probably sixty days. In thirty to sixty days my information on what I am marketing is all over the place. It just takes some of your time. Same thing with articles and press releases, you know how to do what I just told you there, you use it, you test it, you mold it to yourself, if it works for you and you are making sales from it, you can become the article king or queen, whatever you want to call yourself, we come back to the branding again.
