    Yes, you pay tax. They typically send you a 1099.

    Income is income no matter where it comes from and so is taxed. If you’re smart, you’ll set up a business that the income goes to and then you take a personal draw from that.
    It’s simple, really. Study some sights online about incorporating (LLC is often the best for a one person corp.) and then go to your state’s Attorney General page and there should be info.
