   Basically you can sign up as an affiliate and take offers to run on your website. If you get organic traffic and affiliate program can be very lucrative. Also you can email offers as well.

   You will notice that all of the answers given to your question are affiliates. They do not care if you make money or not. They are trying to make a buck off of you. Do not buy any of their crap.
   With that being said, yes, you can make money as I do with affiliate marketing. However, asking that question on here is an open invitation to spammers. Anyway, it takes some serious trial and error to find products that work for you. I suggest going to Clickbank.com and view there market place. This is where we sign up for services or products we want to promote. Once I determine a service or product I usually build a landing page that I send people to letting them know how this product helped me. Then once they click my link they will be taken to the affiliate home page where they will decide if they want to buy the service or product. If they do then that order is tracked by a cookie and clickbank pays me my commission.
   Clickbank is the number one resource for affiliates. Notice I am not trying to sell you something or trying to make money from you like the other posters are. Advertising is not allowed on this site and I personally am sick of seeing paid survey sites and the like being advertised on here. Trust me, you do not want anything these people have posted. Go find out for yourself. Start at Clickbank and go from there. Maybe you can find a good book on there that will help you.
