Does Royal Family Ever Use Their Surnames (when For Example Talking About Them In A Book)? Everytime Im looking at families trees in royal families (e.g. On wiki, “English monarchs family tree”), I always notice that they rarely are refered with their surnames, only with their titles like duke/court/lord etc. Just usng an random name “John II, Duke of Brittany” & Prince Andrew, Duke of York on wiki.

    Why is that?
