This is so true! Very few people really take ...

Comment on Personal Development Procrastinators by Graham Dragon.

This is so true! Very few people really take the action they need to take in order to achieve the goals they say they have.

I have found one reason for this is that many people deceive themselves about what their true goals are. They set goals that they think they SHOULD have rather than goals that are aligned with their inner values. If your goals are not truly aligned then you will lack the motivation to achieve them.

I have produced an e-book about achieving goals and another about motivation. You can get both of them for free, as well as two other free e-books on personal development, from my site (http://www.beallican.com).

What Is Personal Development Coaching?
It is good that businesses are getting into personal development and that many are now providing this for their staff. The business gains more than its investment if it uses a good coach, as it can greatly enhance key business skills and therefore result in better performance.

The reality, though, is that we all need some help with our personal development, whether or not this is being paid for by our company. The gains for the individual are even greater than the gains for the employer.

Subscribers to my newsletter get recommendations from time to time on coaching programmes I have researched and which I have concluded are great value. You can subscribe (free), and additionally receive four free personal development e-books here:
